Haldex fault codes

This is a list of ECU fault codes (also known as error codes) used by Haldex ABS and EBS ECUs on truck trailers, for example the Haldex Modal and Haldex Modular ECUs typically used on commercial vehicles in Europe. These are typically obtained by use of diagnostic code reader tools such as the Haldex Info Center or tools produced by Doctor Air Brake.

00 System OK, vehicle moving

01 1A sensor/wiring open circuit or short circuit

02 1B sensor/wiring open circuit or short circuit

03 2A sensor/wiring open circuit or short circuit

04 2B sensor/wiring open circuit or short circuit

05 3A sensor/wiring open circuit or short circuit

06 3B sensor/wiring open circuit or short circuit

07 System OK, vehicle not moving

08 Retarder relay/wiring open circuit

09 Retarder relay/wiring short circuit

0A COLAS solenoid/wiring open circuit

0C COLAS solenoid/wiring short circuit

0E Warning lamp circuit fault

11 1A sensor system low output

12 1B sensor system low output

13 2A sensor system low output

14 2B sensor system low output

15 3A sensor system low output

16 3B sensor system low output

20 Exciter type incorrect

21 1A sensor system intermittent low output

22 1B sensor system intermittent low output

23 2A sensor system intermittent low output

24 2B sensor system intermittent low output

25 3A sensor system intermittent low output

26 3B sensor system intermittent low output

37 Lamp signalled by external device

40 Sensor wiring crossed across an axle

41 Slow recovery of one wheel of red channel

42 Slow recovery of one wheel of blue channel

43 Slow recovery of one wheel of yellow channel

61 Hold solenoid open circuit red

62 Hold solenoid open circuit blue

63 Hold solenoid open circuit yellow

67 Dump solenoid open circuit red

68 Dump solenoid open circuit blue

69 Dump solenoid open circuit yellow

71 Hold solenoid short circuit red

72 Hold solenoid short circuit blue

73 Hold solenoid short circuit yellow

77 Dump solenoid short circuit red

78 Dump solenoid short circuit blue

79 Dump solenoid short circuit yellow

80 Modulator poor insulation or wiring fault

81 Hold solenoid B+ short circuit red

82 Hold solenoid B+ short circuit blue

83 Hold solenoid B+ short circuit yellow

87 Dump solenoid B+ short circuit red

88 Dump solenoid B+ short circuit blue

89 Dump solenoid B+ short circuit yellow

90 Supply voltage low, < 18 volts

91 ISO 7638 pin 1 power supply bad, or fuse blown

92 Supply voltage high, > 32 volts

93 Internal ECU fault 93

99 Internal ECU fault 99

A1 Reset to ride height

A2 Retarder

CF Sensors and solenoid not connected
